We left Mumbai on 15th.Dec 2022 by our Ertiga...🚙
The route is as follows...

Mumbai to Vadodara, Patan, Dholavira, Rann of Kutch (Dhordo), Bhuj, Mandvi, Jamnagar, Dwarka, Porbandar;Junagadh, Gir National Park, Somnath, Diu,Sana Caves, Chotila (Chamunda Mata Mandir), Hingolgadh Castle, Ghoga RoRo Terminal (Bhavnagar), Surat, Sanjan, Dahnu, Mumbai... 🚙

Total kms.driven in 26 days is 3762.7
Total Tolls crossed 23 and paid ₹1710
Petrol consumed ₹22944.33 filled 8 times during whole trip...

Finally here ...in Surat
After visiting Kutch and Saurashtra...and most of the places in between...
Its great to be able to pray at a thriving Fire Temple... As compared to places where there is no Padshah Saheb is my feeling... 
Its sadness and heavy heart for all our places that lie silent vacant and need maintainance too... It had tales to tell but no one to listen...
Mostly all Parsees, Zarthostis  would have visited Atash Padshah Saheb of Surat at some point of time in their life... So would know the feeling... Of happyness, contentment, peace, love etc.etc.
I leave all my anxieties behind...
I know it will be dealt with in a way that benefits me.
I am Blessed to be born in this Religion...
Not that any Religion is any less ...
I stayed at Surat parsee dharamshalla of Nanpura...
Very well run and maintained place...only thing that could pose problem is parking as there is none within the premise... The helpers there did locate a space on the rd.for me for which I am vv grateful ...

If you have stayed at this dharamshala you will know how terribly narrow the lanes are.
Nice big spacious rooms if you coming with friends,  Big families ... I have stayed in this same room with my friends towards year end of 2018...

After my prayers and attending the Boi at the Adarian... As I got talking to the boiwalla saheb who had come as a replacement for that day ...he mentioned that he is a full time at the Zoroastrianism college which is barely 1.5kms away from the Adarian...
I expressed a desire to visit the place and on speaking to Dame Meher Master Moos his employer I was welcomed for a tet a tet with choi and some insight to what the Zoroastrian College is all about...

Since I was informed about a senior citizen home run by Mr.Boman Irani in Dahnu ...so after inquiring about its where abouts on whatsapp we left for a quick visit to his place...
The place had shut during covid and he plans to re open on 1st April 2023 under new management.
its a 2 floor building... And can accommodate 18 to 20 people over the age of 60 he is happy to take in after an interview with the families.
The room comes with an attatched bathroom.

Mr.Irani then introduced us to the people who run the school for deaf near Dahnu station.
It is govt.aided for students upto std.6 and has 110 students... Childre come
from poor and adivasi families in Dahnu and nearby areas..

There are 32 girls...admissions start fm.3yrs to 14 yrs govt aides them till std.6 then they hv to look for donors
Boys there are 53 same age grp.and govt.sponsors the children till std.6

They need food mainly to feed the boarders ...

Stationary, blankets,warm clothes they get in donation.

Shortage of food is always there...

Bhuj Agiary and Jamnagar agiary

Visited Bhuj and Jamnagar Agiaries now non operational...  Due to lack of worshippers... I was told only 1 family in Bhuj is looking after the place and they stay in Ahmedabad... Bhuj agiary premise is well looked after by Mr.Abu Bakar... Whereas in Jamnagar there are 5 families and all are mostly senior citizens The Jamnagar Agiary is looked after by Mr.Sarosh Daruwalla as care taker of the premise and Mr.Wadia the trustee. Bhavnagar Agiary (now a Dadgah)

Started at 11 from Chotila to go to Hingolgadh... To our bad luck it was shut Then we decided to take the RoRo boat to Hazira...Surat It was along drive...cutting through the landscape... In between decided must visit Bhavnagar agiary (now a Dadgah) So located it on google and met the care taker who has been looking after the place for last 21 years... (Have his no.in case any Zarthosti wants to visit) The last Dasturjee passed on in year 1992/93... So now its a Dadgah and all Zarthostis can enter within... My impression of the premise was it needs to be maintained as it is crumbling... Its nearly a 130 year old structure... The Dharamshalla and Community hall adjacent to Agiary too are in a bad shape. I was informed that there are merely a dozen families or 30 to 35 parsees currently in Bhavnagar. First glimpse of the fire temple The well The care taker for past 21 years ...
