HorseLand ...Matheran

A quick get away from Mumbai with friends is always welcome...
Bestie arranged for our stay for 2 nights at HorseLand hotel in Matheran...
A fun place to un wind from your hectic schedules...

The ghat area is curvaceous and in some places steep inclines so a bit of caution on the road is adviced... Before you start your drive upwards there are drivers willing to drive your car upto the parking lot at a cost...
Once in parking area be cautious of the touts who surround you to take their horses at a hefty rent for a barely 3 km.stretch... Since you have luggage and are keen to reach your hotel you will settle.
Caution to all... There are e rickshaws available but tbe horsemen will mis guide you regarding the same. At our hotel was informed e ricks charge ₹35 pp
Horse owners charge a king's ransome.
The 4 of us were treated to a holiday by bestie at Horseland hotel Matheran...
