Image
Day 1 Ingawale farmhouse This was a quick planned trip to Kaas pathar for 2 nights... we stayed at Ingawale farms  (20 kms away fm.Satara) Food is grown in their huge farm ... sugarcane, ginger, soy beans, chillies and tomatoes so its literally food from farm to the table. Road leading to the farm house The homestay is run very well by young Akshay Kumar and his family . View from the balcony room on top Details for those of you who may like to book a stay... A gift left by one of the visitors... The prayer flags add a dash of colour and vibrancy to the place. our ride in their fields on this tractor was fun in the sun surrounded by greenery at the Ingawale farmhouse. lunch was a veg.maharashtrian thali... from farm to the table... (₹ 160) Our online booking for Kaas pathar was for 3pm and we were nearly 27kms away, so after lunch we drove towards our destination...

We reached Nagarkot in the afternoon... the drive out of Thamel in Khatmandu was tedious as lanes very narrow... we had to pass through Bhaktapur whose Durbar square we were keen to visit too... The pix below are of our Nagarkot stay Nagarkot is famous for its sun rise and sunsets and trekkers like to walk its trails... We    .,666spent the night at the edge of the hills... at the Edge since it was hazy we could barely see sun set or sun rise... Valley view from our hotel That's my daughter... Terrace Tree chair... too small to be called tree house... our room with a balcony and a view  Sun set time... on our hotel's terrace some Tyre burned whilst going up... Bhaktapur (info from Google) The  Durbar Square  is a generic name for the  Malla  palace square and can be found in  Kathma...
